Study on Socially Unprotected Families to be Carried Out in Adjara
Adjara. On April 7 the Chairman of the Adjara
Government ArchilKhabadze has executed the Memorandum with the Swiss Agency for
Development and Cooperation and the Institute of Social Studies and Analysis.As part of the Memorandum, a study will be carried out with co-funding
from the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, which will study the
urgent issues of socially unprotected, homeless and the disaster-struck
population. The principles of creation and functioning of the House-Building
Fund will be determined based on this study. The House-Building Fund foresees
to transfer residential space to certain citizens under the cheap and long-term
payment terms. The study will be completed in 2014 and its results will be
presented in Batumi and Tbilisi.
