Complaint in the Self-Regulatory Body against “Rustavi 2” for the TV Story
Tbilisi. The Georgian Muslims Union, Media Development
Fund (MDF) and
the Tolerance and Diversity Institute (TDI) have lodged a complaint against TV
Company "Rustavi 2" in the self-regulatory body. "CSOs were
outraged with the story aired in the program "P.S." on April 6. The
organizations believe that in the story on the construction of a mosque in
Adjara the journalist has breached five points of the "Broadcasters' Code
of Conduct", misinterpreted facts and thus misled the public,"
