Samtskhe-Javakheti. The
Georgian Evaluation Association has delivered a training in Akhaltsikhe for the
ethnic minorities in increasing the accountability and transparency of local
authorities, advocacy and monitoring.Trainings are delivered
in four cities of Georgia - Akhaltsikhe, Akhalkalaki, Gardabani and Bolnisi -
as part of the project "Empowering Marginalized and Ethnic Minority
Citizens for Participation in Local Government Decision-Making and Monitoring
Activities".Training topics were
selected in line with the study results and they aim to raise public awareness,
acknowledge their decisive role in the elections and involve them in the
self-government activities.
