Tbilisi. The Georgian Democratic Initiative has
released a statement. "The organization would like to express its utmost
concern over the information disseminated by the General Director of TV company
"Rustavi 2" at the special briefing. According to the statement, a
secret source has provided to the TV company's management the audio and video
recordings of the General Director of "Rustavi 2" Nika Gvaramia and
the Head of the News Service Nino Shubladze, which, according to them, were
stored in the Ministry of Interior. ... We call on the Chief Prosecutor's
Office of Georgia to carry out an impartial, complete and timely
investigation," says the statement.
