Kvemo Kartli. CSO "Georgian Democratic
Initiative" has organized a discussion on May 16 in Gardabani for the senior
schoolchildren and youngsters over prohibition of discrimination and tolerance.
Lawyer of the Georgian Democratic Initiative Giorgi Mshvenieradze and
theologian Beka Mindiashvili have chaired the discussion.Discussion participants have talked
about the culture of tolerance, principles of equality and legal mechanisms for
securing equality and eliminating discrimination, as well as the newly adopted
Law on Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination and the uproar around this
Law. Youngsters were interested in consequences of adoption of this Law for the
country and the ways of enforcing it.
