Election Environment Development Center Observed Elections in the Communications Commission
Tbilisi. The Election Environment Development
Center was observing the elections of Chairman of the Georgian National
Communications Commission on May 19. This was the first case of electing the
Chairman of the National Communications Commission by the Commission members
themselves. Prior to that, the agency's head was appointed by the President.
Observers of the Election Environment Development Center have assessed the
elections positively.
