A meeting with
representatives of political parties was organized on May 21 in CEC
at the initiative of the Central Election Commission and support of the
International Republican Institute (IRI). CEC Chair has informed the
participants about the Commission's activities and statistical data, including
information on already registered mayor candidates, international and local
observer organizations and applications/complaints submitted to the Commission.
Representatives of international and local non-governmental sector have also
attended the meeting.
