The Gender Equality
Network has organized a public discussion on June 1 to support
women candidates running in the local authorities elections. At the meeting
with an active dialogue the women nominees have presented their agendas and
discussed future plans. Women candidates nominated by various political parties
on proportional lists and single-seat positions, as well as the civil society
representatives have attended the meeting.Public discussion was organized as part
of the project "Gender Fairness in Political Processes", implemented
by the Gender Equality Network with support from the Election Systems
Development, Reforms and Training Center.
