Samegrelo. Schoolchildren of math clubs set up in
the rural schools of the Gori Municipality by the Center "Abkhazia"
have visited Zugdidi on June 7. The
visit was organized as part of the project "Youth Participation and
Development" (funded by USAID and implemented with support from UNICEF).
Partner CSO "Atinati" has hosted the children.Following a short cultural program, a
math competition was organized in the office of "Atinati" with
participation of 10 guest and 19 host schoolchildren. Competition was held
among 5 teams. Teams were formed at the start of the competition and included
both host and guest schoolchildren.Competition was rather entertaining and
required general logical thinking and good knowledge of mathematical
calculations.
