"On 10 June 2014, the media has spread information about the work accident occurred at Mindeli Mine in Tkibulki, leaving 6 miners with serious injuries. ...The latest accident in Tkibuli Mines does explicitly demonstrate non-existence of safety regulations that threatens the safety of many workers in the country and exposes them to a danger of fatal results. ...The Public Defender firmly reiterates the urgent necessity to speed up the process of elaboration of relevant legislation on health and safety and calls upon the government to make timely steps in this direction".
