Tbilisi. The Gender Equality Network has organized a civil forum on June 11. The forum aims to get familiar with the results of gender analysis during the pre-election period of the 2014 local self-government authorities and inform general public about the issues of women's political participation.
Over hundred representatives from the Parliament, authorities, CSOs, international organizations and political parties have attended the forum. The event was organized as part of the project "Gender Equality in Political Processes", implemented by the Gender Equality Network (GEN) with support of the Center of Electoral Systems Development and Reforms.
