Local self-government elections 2014: TI Georgia’s statement regarding electoral processes
Tbilisi. Transparency International Georgia released a statement regarding election processes. "By the end of voting, Transparency International (TI) Georgia had observed approximately 25 serious and nearly 15 less serious violations of electoral procedures throughout the country. Our observers had filed 15 complaints by 20:00. TI Georgia assesses the election day as generally calm and safe. However, TI observers were able to note an especially high number of violations and some instances of tension in certain electoral districts, i.e. in Martvili and Zugdidi districts".
