Tbilisi. Election Environment Development Centre assessed
the second
round of elections. On July 12 the organization held monitoring the
second round of local self-government elections by more than 100 observers in all
level electoral administrations. Observers were monitoring process of the
opening of polling stations, the voting and vote count and results’ summarizing
processes. "Observers did not witness serious violations at polling stations. Based
on their information the voting day was peaceful. Small violations were
observed which were indicated and precinct election commission responded
adequately in-place. Elections were held peacefully and organized”, says the
organization web-site.
