Public Broadcasting Council Considered the Complaint of Nine NGOs

July 14, Georgian Public
Broadcasting Council considered the complaint of nine NGOs and one individual. "The complaint was referred to the
clergyman’s discriminating statement broadcast on the First Channel” said in
media.ge. The Council final conclusion on the case will supposedly be known in
a week. The complaint is signed by: Media Development Foundation (MDF), Tolerance
and Diversity Institute (TDI), Identity, Young Lawyers Association (GYLA), Human
Rights Education and Monitoring Center (EMC), Women's Initiatives Support
Group, Women's Fund in Georgia, Cover, Constitution Article 42 and citizen –
Nino Bolkvadze.
