Tbilisi. "Georgian Young Constitutionalists
Association” assessed the second round of local self-government elections. The
organization was monitoring elections in Tbilisi and some regions. "On July 12 the
voting was held peacefully and serious violations were not observed. Small
incidents and technical violations observed at polling stations should be remarked,
however, compared with the first round and previous presidential elections as
well quantity and frequency of these violations were much less. The mentioned
circumstance is complimentary and generally shows improvement of electoral
system and environment”, said in organization web-site.
