Kakheti. On July 16 the exhibition was
open andthemovie show "Lost
History, Memory about Repressed Women” was held in
Sighnagi Museum. The exhibition presented histories of repressed women in 20-40s
of XX century; a documental film, "Vividly Told Stories - Memory about Repressed
Women” was prepared on base of the oral histories and interviews, recorded by the
agency of the Soviet Past Research Laboratory within the mentioned project
framework.In 2012, the Soviet
Past Research Laboratory implemented the project – "Lost History, Memory about
Repressed Women” with financial support of International
Cooperation Institute of the German Association of Public Universities (DVV
International). The project includes research on repressed women’s histories and
introducing them to wide public.
