Human Rights Center about Cases of Political Prisoners
Tbilisi. On September 12 Human Rights Centre held
a press conference. The organization required "removal of "secret"
classification for political prisoners accused of espionage cases and re-impartial
investigation”. The press conference was attended by former political prisoners
and political prisoners - photographers as well. "Human Rights Center believes that to
review the cases of persons convicted for political reasons by the previous
government and to remove the "secret" classification for rehabilitation
of political prisoners is in urgent need. At the same time, there are people who do not have the
status of a political prisoner, but their actions are a clear example of
political persecution”.
