Coordination Council Working on Issues of Persons with Disabilities is set up in the Adjara Government
Adjara. The order was published on the web page
of the Government of the Adjara Autonomous republic on September 26, based on
which the Coordination Council working on the issues of persons with
disabilities was set up in the Adjara Government. The Council aims to create
necessary conditions for ensuring public integration and equal opportunities
for persons with disabilities residing in the region's territory, and develop
and implement strategy to protect their rights. The Council includes
representatives from governmental agencies and local CSOs.
