Guria. Members of the Youth Center functioning with the Young
Teachers' Union have celebrated the International Day of the Girl Child on
October 11 with theatrical performance in the city's central park.
Youngsters have protested against public stereotypes on girls. As part of the
initiative, it was possible to break through artificial "barriers" on
the park's territory only by knowing the rights.Representatives
of the Ozurgeti City Hall's Education, Culture and Gender Equality Service, as
well as the Head of the Municipality's Youth Affairs Department have
participated in the initiative along with youngsters.
