Monitoring of Elections to the University's Academic Council
Tbilisi. Third elections to the Academic Council
of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University were held on October 21. Polls were organized at seven
election precincts. Two candidates from each faculty were elected as members of
the Academic Council, total of 14 members.
Representatives
of the Election Environment Development Center have monitored the election
process and the Center's observers have assessed the process positively.
