Coalition for Independent Living (CIL) is a union of 27 organizations working on the issues of disability. Its mission is to promote the rights and interests of persons with disabilities (PWD), raise public awareness about disability and support the inclusion of PWD in political, economic, social and cultural life of the country.

The position of translator/secretary is open in frames of the Disability Advocacy Project which CIL is starting to implement with the support from USAID. The Goal of the project is: to strengthen disabled people's organizations in Tbilisi, Guria, Samegrelo, Imereti and Adjara to effectively include women, men and children with disabilities in development programs in their communities.

Public Relations (PR) Manager (Full-time).

Project objectives are:

** Objective 1: Build capacity of DPOs in Tbilisi, Guria, Samegrelo, Imereti and Adjara regions by providing training in advocacy, monitoring, and grants management areas
** Objective 2: Support emerging future leaders of the disability movement, by selecting, training and supporting young disabled leaders in each of the targeted regions.
** Objective 3: Increase participation of DPOs in government decision-making by enhancing cooperation and coordination between the DPOs, state actors and development programs

PR Manager (Full time):

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

** Increase the image and authority of the organization; help form a healthy public opinion about the organization;
** Raise public awareness about the work of CIL
** Develop and implement Public Relations and Communications strategy;
** Develop and implement internal communications strategy of the organization;
** Ensure coverage of and information distribution about the organization's activities;
** Hold meetings with media professionals, NGOs and other stakeholders;
** Organize press-conferences and briefings;
** Prepare and provide materials for TV spots, press-releases and other media coverage;
** Control the information flow on websites and social networks and ensure the accuracy of the information regarding the ** ** organization and/or its work;
** Advise colleagues regarding the communication with media professionals;
** Create, maintain and update visual and printed materials archive;
** Prepare and submit monthly progress reports in due time and manner.

Qualifications and skills:

** Higher education (preferably in public relations or media);
** At least 2 years experience of working as a public relations manager;
** Disability awareness;
** Fluency in Georgian language;
** Fluency in English and Russian languages;
** Ability to conduct negotiations;
** Showing initiative;
** Ability in problem-solving;
** Creativity;
** Ability to work alone and in a team
** Ability to work under pressure;
** Ability to prepare progress and monitoring reports in due time and manner.
