Chemonics International, an international development organization based in Washington, D.C., seeks multiple positions for the newly-awarded USAID Educating the Future Activity. This is a 5-year activity to strengthen the quality of pre-service teacher education programs, build the capacity of school administrators as instructional leaders, and support the implementation of decentralization policies within education. The objectives are as follows:

  • Enhance the quality and inclusiveness of pre-service teacher education programs;
  • Improve school governance; and
  • Support the decentralization of the basic education system.

Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist

Position Description

The Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Specialist provides expertise in monitoring and evaluation and oversees the implementation of the Activity Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Plan. S/he is responsible for setting up and managing the project`s M&E system to track project progress, monitor outputs and measure the impact/ effectiveness of project interventions. S/he is responsible for measuring impact, providing data for continual improvement of activity effectiveness, facilitating adaptive learning, and supporting USAID reporting needs.
