The Professional Fellows Program (PFP; previously known as Legislative Fellows Program or LFP) is sponsored by the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs of the U.S. Department of State. Upon arrival in the United States, fellows will participate in a three-day intensive introduction to the U.S. political process in Washington D.C. Fellows will then begin their five- week long fellowships across the United States in state legislatures and city halls.
