Save the Children Country Office in Georgia is now accepting application for the positions of Project Manager for the Project "Chance for the Better Life".
Grade: 2
Location: Tbilisi
Start date: ASAP
Post type: Fixed term (6-7 months)
Key areas of accountability:
** Leads and oversees project planning, implementation and monitoring, including day to day assistance and support to the project staff to meet all project objectives and ensure quality outcomes Prepares technical analysis report on efficiency of various intervention approaches for urban street children
** Reviews/elaborates/ensures development of tool for assessment of efficiency of various intervention approaches for urban street children at policy and implementation levels
** Formulates a replicable and evidence-based operational guidelines addressing priority needs of urban street children and produces generalized operational manual that will include guidance and best practices to be used within SC globally.
** Tracks project budget closely - for spending in line with the project work plan to meet objectives and produce outcomes
** Maintains proactive collaboration with project partners and stakeholders, especially with Ministries. Ensures effective coordination and synergy with other work.
Qualifications and experience:
** Degree in social sciences or related field(s)
** At list 5 years of progressive professional experience in relevant field
** At list 4 years of employment experience and extensive collaboration with INGOs.
** Vast experience in conducting studies/research, including its design, sampling, data collection and analyses
** Experience in elaborating evidence-based policy level recommendations, reports and strategic papers
** Solid knowledge and working experience of child protection field with special concentration on street children
** Advanced written and spoken English and Georgian
** Microsoft word programs and computer literacy.
