The U.S. Embassy in Georgia announces the opening of the Democracy Commission Small Grants Program Competition for 2016. The Commission, co-chaired by the Deputy Chief of Mission and the Public Affairs Officer, will award grants of up to 24,000 U.S. Dollars to indigenous Georgian non-profit, non-governmental, media and educational organizations that support the following initiatives: Civic Engagement, Electoral System Support, Environmental Protection, Independent Media Development for More Informed and Engaged Citizenry.
