IFES is an independent, non-governmental organization (NGO), with headquarters registered in the United States of America. IFES supports citizens' rights to participate in free and fair elections. Our independent expertise strengthens electoral systems and builds local capacity to deliver sustainable solutions.
Through the framework of the United States Agency for International Development's (USAID) Strengthening Electoral Processes in Georgia project, IFES invites locally (Georgia) registered NGOs to prepare and broadcast radio talk shows aiming at raising public awareness and understanding on gender issues as relating to political processes and political empowerment looking forward to the 2016 parliamentary elections.
