Statement of “No To Phobia” Members
Tbilisi. Member organizations of civil platform "No
To Phobia!” appeal to the Government of Georgia, political, religious and civil
institutions and media about joint response to violence against women.
"We
believe that the recent alarming trend of frequent facts of violence and
femicide requires joint efforts of the authorities as well as other
institutions and the whole society. Yet, it should be noted at the same time
that the authorities bear special responsibility in this process”.
