Young Constitutionalists about Suffrage of Convicted Persons
Tbilisi. Representatives of the "Georgian Young Constitutionalists’ Association” have held a meeting in the Central Election Commission of Georgia about suffrage of convicted persons. The organization’s representatives have informed meeting participants about the initiative, which intends to deprive persons in penitentiary institutions of active suffrage not based on the gravity of a crime but by taking into account the category of a crime and individual circumstances, with a court decision.
