Tbilisi. The Association of Young Economists of Georgia
has released a statement and responded to the statement of the Prime Minister
of Georgia on setting up a special unit in the Prosecutor's Office, which will
work on cases of illegal deprivation of property, as well as facts of torture
and inhuman treatment.
"This
initiative raises various questions, and accordingly we find it necessary for
the Government to make additional statements clarifying questions related to
the issue", the statement says.
