Tbilisi. On January 23, 2015, the Public Defender of Georgia presented a study on realization of recommendations and proposals issued by the Public Defender in 2014. The presentation was attended by representatives of the Government and the Parliament of Georgia, international diplomatic corps accredited in Georgia, international organizations and the media.
"In 2014, the Public Defender sent 154 recommendations and proposals to various agencies – bodies of central and local authorities, as well as officials. Out of these only 35 (23%) were realized, 22 (14%) were partially fulfilled, 47 (31%) - not realized and no response received in case of 28 (18%)".
