Guria. The Ozurgeti Civic Engagement Center has hosted on January 28 an "awareness-raising event and information campaign on C Hepatitis".

The Head of the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, Maia Kutidze and epidemiologist ElzaSimonishvili have thoroughly discussed ways of spreading of C Hepatitis, identification of signs of infection, and ways of communication of this disease.

Attendees were especially interested in the prevention of the disease and the state policy, which implies a correct diagnosing-treatment and provision of medicines to patients.

Schoolchildren, youngsters and citizens interested in the issue have attended the meeting.
