Statement by the Civil Society National Platform
Tbilisi. The Civil Society National Platform has released a statement, in which it urges the European Union and its member states to clearly recognize European prospects of Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine in the Riga Summit Declaration.
"We, the representatives of the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, are expecting the Riga Summit with particular interest. ... We, the Georgian National Platform of the Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum, are expecting a clear message from the Summit participants, that our countries, despite aggression exercised against us, have the European perspective, and that no one can prevent the European state from becoming a full-fledge member of the united Europe", the statement says.
