Mtskheta-Mtianeti. The social media training was
delivered on November 17 and 18 in Mtskheta for the school-based civic club
members of the Mtskheta-Mtianeti Region. 10-11 participants were selected for
each training. The trainers have informed the schoolchildren about the features
of traditional and social media and talked about the notion of civic
journalism, responsibility of journalists, and the joint action of the social
media and the traditional media.
Training participants
have registered their own blogs on the base of Wordpress.
Similar trainings were
already delivered for 120 youngsters in various regions of Georgia. Upon
completion of trainings envisaged by the project, number of participants will
reach 540.
