Tbilisi. CSOs have released a joint statement addressing the Public Broadcaster's Boards of Trustees and Monitoring.
"Coverage of religious rituals by the Public Broadcaster is a persisting problem. On 12 April 2015, during the live coverage from Jerusalem of the ritual known as the "Holy Fire come down" tradition, commentators made statements that were of discriminatory nature towards the Armenian nation in general and the Armenian Apostolic Church, and included signs of manipulation with religious feelings", the statement says.
