Use an Opportunity: Learn and Receive a Grant...

Tbilisi. The Civil Society Institute has started receiving applications for the second class of e-learning program candidates. Participation in the program is free of charge, and in case of successful graduation CSO representatives will be given an opportunity to get involved in the small grants program, enabling them to apply gained knowledge and skills in practice.
E-learning includes 4 courses: research methods (lecturer Iago Kachkachishvili), public policy analysis (lecturer Keti Melikadze), advocacy and lobbying (lecturer Vazha Salamadze) and public finances (lecturers: Oto Kikvadze and Misha Dzagania). E-learning course is built on the classical distance learning model and accordingly, one can learn without leaving the office.
First graduates of all four e-learning courses have completed classes on March 30. 173 applicants were enrolled and those who graduated successfully received relevant certificates.
For successful graduates who have obtained two course certificates, the Civil Society Institute has hosted on April 21 an open door day for participating in the grant competition.
Grant volume per one project is 11 000 GEL, and deadline for submission of proposals is April 30. Contest commission will announce the winner by the end of May.
CSO representatives, who have not yet decided to take the e-learning course, can submit application until April 26. Use an opportunity: learn and receive a grant.
