Tbilisi. Transparency International – Georgia has released a study titled: "Investigation into embezzlements of state funds delayed".

"The study describes audit reports drafted by the State Audit Office in 2013-2015, which included elements of crime, and which the Audit Office had transferred to law-enforcement agencies for further response. The study provides statistics of transferred cases and responses of law-enforcement agencies to them, and gives the content of interested cases. The study is entirely based on materials provided by the State Audit Office, including in part of the response by the Prosecutor's Office, because despite requesting the information, the Prosecutor's Office did not provide information on transferred cases, and their response referred only to the number of applications received from the Audit Office", introduction of the study states.
