Draft Law on Gender Quota Allocation Submitted in Parliament
Tbilisi. Women's Political Participation Working Group member local CSOs have submitted a legislative proposal in the Parliament on June 10, which seeks to increase women's political participation in Georgia's representative authorities through quota allocation. In case the Parliament adopts the initiative, a minimum of 25% representation will be secured for women in the legislative body following next elections.
