EU to Assist Georgia in Overcoming Flash Flood Consequences
The European Commission has released a special statement in connection with the Tbilisi flash flood. European Commissioner Johannes Hahn has expressed grief over flood victims. EU will assist Georgian authorities in overcoming the flood consequences.
''The assistance in the amount of up to 3 million Euros will be allocated for securing the accommodation for the affected from natural disaster. This amount will be allocated in the form of direct budgetary assistance'', the statement says.
