Kakheti. Telavi is hosting the exhibition "Modern outward appearance of old cities", funded by the Netherlands Institute for Multiparty democracy (NIMD).

The project aims to determine the status and changes of various cities and historic monuments through photos. The exhibition is held in four cities: Telavi, Gori, Batumi and Kutaisi.

According to the Manager of Project "Modern outward appearance of old cities", Irina Kartvelishvili, the urgency of urban development problems in Georgia has triggered the implementation of this project. She said the project is important also in that it preserves authentic facts on the status of buildings on the cultural heritage list in face of photos.
