GYLA Condemns the Advancing of Occupation Line by the Russian Federation

Tbilisi. GYLA has reacted to another fact of advancing the occupation line by the Russian Federation. According to media reports, on 11 July 2015 the so-called division line has been advanced in village Orchosani of the Gori District by 300 meters, while in the Tsileubani-Khurvaleti territory - by approximately kilometer and a half.
"GYLA urges the authorities to draw up an integrated data base of population suffering from the advancement of the occupation line, agricultural lands within the occupation line, number of residential houses, and material damages inflicted on the population. In addition, GYLA urges the authorities of Georgia to use all potential diplomatic and international legal mechanisms aimed at ending the occupation of the Georgian territories by the Russian Federation and infringement upon the rights of Georgian citizens"...
