Tbilisi. Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Gharibashvili opened the International High-Level Conference ''Achieving Gender Equality – Challenges and opportunities in the European Neighbourhood Policy Region'' in Tbilisi at Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel on November 10. Women's political and economic empowerment cornerstones for the achievement of gender equality, Joining forces to end violence against women and girls in public and private domains and Women as agents of positive change in peace and security efforts are the three main thematic sessions. 

''Exhibition ''Women Members of Constituent Assembly 1919-21'' presented by Ms. Thea Tsulukiani Minister of Justice of Georgia honours the first women in politics in modern Georgia and highlighting the election of the Constituent Assembly in 1919, which was unique in that every citizen of Georgia, despite their gender, was able to participate'', is noted in the statement.
