Kvemo Kartli. In partnership with the Georgian Association of Education Initiatives
(SIQA), the Department for Education and Science of the student self-government
of the Tbilisi State University has organized a tournament in the parliamentary
format debates.
48
participants were selected for the tournament from the 250 interested persons.
Prior to the tournament SIQA has delivered two-day trainings, as part of which
the participants got familiar with the structure and rules of debates of
parliamentary style, and gained theoretical and practical knowledge. A two-day
tournament was organized among the trained students. Qualified judges of SIQA
have evaluated the games.
Teams
on the first and second places were revealed and the best 5 speakers were
named.
