Tbilisi. The group for supporting women's
initiatives has released the study – "The State of LGBT Persons in Georgia
in 2012". The publication consists of two parts. The first part describes
the legal and socio-cultural environment in Georgia that the LGBT group members
live in. Second part of the publication depicts the results of research on LGBT
discrimination, which was carried out in 2012 and enabled the organization to
assess the level of discrimination of LGBT groups in various areas, which forms
of physical and psychological abuse prevail with what frequency, etc.
