Tbilisi. Non-governmental organizations release a joint statement regarding the so-called Case of Cables.

''The society was observing development of the mentioned case for a long period of time and it must be mentioned that as the phase of making a charge, as well as the events that took place during development of the process, were raising questions within the society in terms of justification of the charge, validity of taking into custody, existence of unassailable evidences in the case and fair hearing of the case. Overall, these circumstances created a feeling of practicing substandard justice and politicizing the process'' – is noted in the joint statement.
