GYLA responds to the fact that took place at the vegan cafe
Tbilisi. The Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association responds to the incident that took place on May 29 at the vegan cafe "Kiwi".
''…We consider that on the background of growing extremism and the facts of discrimination, effective response of the state on hatred motivated crimes and applying criminal sanctions are of fundamental importance.
... Improper response on discriminatory and hatred motivated crimes, as well as impunity encourage strengthening of extremist groups and violation of human fundamental rights, especially those of minority groups'' – is noted in the statement released by GYLA.
