Tbilisi. A package of amendments to the "Criminal Code of Georgia” and to the other accompanying legislative acts has been initiated at the parliament of Georgia. According to the amendments a special article regarding elections will be added to the Criminal Code, as well as regulations on calling law enforcement authorities to a polling station (surrounding area) and on their presence there will be changed too.

GYLA has already presented its legal viewpoint on the mentioned legislative package to the Parliament of Georgia, besides, while discussing the bill it voiced its opinion at the relevant committees.

This time it publishes feedbacks on the web-page of the organization for wider society.
