Tbilisi. On December 23, 2016, Public Defender Ucha Nanuashvili and Public Defender Natia Katsitadze met with representatives of the non-governmental organizations representing the Drug Policy National Platform.

''The NGO representatives briefed the Public Defender of the concept of the legislative changes drafted by them, the aim of which is to replace the state’s repressive drug policy with more liberal and balanced policy.

The Public Defender and representatives of the NGOs agreed on to strengthen future cooperation and carry out joint activities'', is noted in the statement.
