Organizations respond to closure of Red Zone and InterVIEW
Tbilisi. Civil Society Organizations respond to the statement made by the Public Broadcaster on June 13, which is related to closure of ''Red Zone'' and ''InterVIEW'' from the month of July.
''The decision of the management of the Public Broadcaster to close aforementioned programs on the basis of just a general and abstract explanation that the leadership does not want to prepare political programs via attracting external resources, seems unjustified and arbitrary, and points out the interest of the management to obtain maximum and direct control over programs with the specifically political content'' – is stated on the website of the organization.
