NGOs demand wider discussion of legislative amendments on Public Broadcaster
Tbilisi. On June 17, it became known at a working meeting in the Parliament that the Legal Committee intended to initiate amendments to the Law of Georgia on Broadcasting in the shortest time.
''We consider that planned legislative amendments are part of the ongoing process on Public Broadcaster. We actually mean a decision of the management to close politically important programs and manage political space of Public Broadcaster with just internal resources'' – is stated on the website of the organization.
