Tbilisi. On June 14, 2017, the Public Defender of Georgia submitted an alternative report to the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

''The aim of the document is to inform the UN Committee on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities of the important issues, which, according to the Public Defender of Georgia, need attention during discussion of the implementation of the Convention in Georgia'', is noted in the statement.
